I showed by friend my wall of doilies and she asked if I could make one to decorate her living room too. I love crocheting for others, so I was excited to start this one.

I picked this pattern because flat doilies are easy to work up and the designs are very clear when hung on a wall. When textured doilies are hung up, you don't see their 3D details as well as, say, laying them on a table.
