weeknotes 37
- My partner and I are in the final stages of moving into the new place. Think: address changes, final utility bills, placing furniture in their final places, and the like. But the first week here has been great! We love the new location and all the natural light. Already I'm hoping to be here for a long time.
- We finished assembling TWO trinket cabinets for new place. One's for fun or memorable knick-knacks, and the other is for our awards and precious nerdy stuff (including my little collection of cartomancy decks). Why buy generic decor for your home when you can instead display all the little treasures you've collected over the years?
- The weather is getting cooler, and thank goodness for that. I had Monday off and spent a good portion of it going on a long walk around town with a friend. It was a beautiful day for it!
- I'm on a tinned fish kick. And I'm not talking about plain, canned tuna in water; I'm talking those fancy tins with pretty branding and unique flavors. Paired with crackers or rice, they make such easy, healthy meals! My top picks so far are Fishwife's Smoked Rainbow Trout and Rügenfisch's Kipper Snacks. I'm already on the hunt for more brands and flavors.
